We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Property Manager.
In this role, you will assist the Property Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our properties, ensuring a positive experience for our residents and maintaining the overall success of the property.
Duties:
- Assist with leasing activities, including showing available units, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements
- Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Assist with rent collection and ensure all payments are accurately recorded
- Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, working closely with vendors and contractors to ensure timely completion
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify any maintenance or safety concerns
- Assist with marketing efforts to attract new residents, including creating and posting online advertisements
- Maintain accurate records and files related to property management activities using file management systems such as OneSite or Yardi
- Assist with compliance requirements, including knowledge of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations if applicable
- Support administrative tasks such as preparing reports, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies
Experience:
- Previous experience in property management or related field.
- Knowledge of administrative processes and procedures within a property management setting
- Familiarity with facilities management principles and practices
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with residents, vendors, and team members
- Understanding of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to property management
- Proficiency in computer software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Sales experience is a plus
