We are two guitarists looking for a drummer and bassist to round out a Neil Young+Crazy Horse tribute band we are looking to put together.
Ideally, you’d be able to do lead vocals as well as bass/drums.
If you’re a vocalist we’re open to having keys or another instrument as well, because we’d like the vocalist to also play an instrument so that they have something to do during extended jams.
We are two 30s/40s die hard NY fans.
Our set lists would come from the 60s/70s/90s NY and NY/CH catalogue.
Depending on how our line up works out, we’d love to get into the non-Crazy Horse stuff, like the electric side of Harvest, On the Beach and Tonight’s the Night, as well as the NY/CH classics (Everbody Knows, Zuma, Live Rust, Ragged Glory etc.
)
We’re looking for people who will take it seriously enough to get the songs right and be able to put on a good show, but who won’t spook the horse.
You need to be able to show up when you say you will and be ready to play, but this is all for fun in the end.
Once we get our feet on the ground, our idea would be to gig every now and then locally.
