Been a long time since I've played the Real Book standards stuff.
Thinking I should try to get back into it a bit and want to find someone (I'm a guitarist, and another guitarist would be what I'm looking for ideally) who also wants to shed this kinda stuff, in a relaxed way, weekly or something like that.
Relaxed meaning, no pressure to be perfect, no pressure to find gigs (yet), no pressure to play any tunes we're uncomfortable/don't wanna be playing, etc.

I'd call myself well past beginner, well short of professional.
Would like someone in that same skill range/level.
Don't wanna spend time teaching; don't wanna get crushed by someone running stupid circles around me.
been there, done that.
For folks who need to know: I'm a 58 year old white male.
I'd also wanna have it be a thing where we decide on tunes ahead of time so we (myself, anyway.

) can have a little time to learn forms/heads before getting together.
I've found that always make things more fun and productive; as opposed to getting together before knowing what music is gonna be looked at and actually spending the time together 'learning' the tunes instead of 'practicing' the tunes.
you know what I mean.
I'm currently without a car, so you'd have to come to me.
I have a small but hopefully not too uncomfortable apartment living room.
Cheers.
