Cascade Community Concert Band is looking for musicians who want to utilize their talent and have some fun!
We especially need clarinet, bass clarinet, oboe, bassoon, french horn, and anyone who wants to be part of a local concert band.
If you have the desire to play and enrich the world around you by performing at free local venues, this might be the place for you!
We rehearse on Mondays in Spanaway:
Jazz band: 7:00 - 7:50 pm
Concert band 7:50 - 9:00 pm
We are open to musicians with a minimum of two years of experience who can bring their own instrument and music stand.
Also, the ability to read music definitely would be a plus.
There is no cost to join or dues to pay.
We usually have around seven or eight performances a year such as:
Bates Tech.
College (and sometimes Clover Park College) graduations, Puyallup Fair, All Bethel Community Day, various local venues like nursing homes, churches, parks/farmers markets, and Tacoma Rescue Mission.
