This is an awesome vintage Yamaha arch top.
It seems to be Yamahas answer to a Gretsch Tennessean (has a cool "blend" knob) although most people compare it to a Gibson 335.
I think of it as if kind of a mix between 335 and a jaguar.
The pickups are single coil with a dummy coil to buck the hum.
The hardware is pretty amazing on it too; cast aluminum pick up bezels and jack plate, 3 way adjustable roller saddles and hight adjustable vibrato.
As I understand it these were really made before Yamaha was fully into the export game and were intended to be the best quality domestic guitars of their time.
.
they weren't wrong.
Really gets that 70s feel and tone.
Comes with a battered but solid original case too! Act now and get the 4" wide leather strap and old set of Kaman strings that came in the case!!
Reasonable offers and offers of trade happily entertained!
