This 1991 nylon-stringed flamenco guitar was made in Spain.
It has superior craftsmanship when compared to many of the post-2000's major guitar manufacturers that eventually re-located to China, Korea, Indonesia, and Mexico.
In my opinion, I would put this guitar build and its quality of materials on par with early Takamine builds from the 1970's.
This guitar is a flamenco guitar, so it has lower action, a narrower neck, and tighter string configuration than a traditional concert sized classical guitar.
This design makes it a versatile instrument for more typical acoustic and/or electric players.
Tonally, this guitar has really clean resonance and a surprisingly long level of sustain with reactive harmonics.
Its responsiveness is likely due to its 30+ years and combination of woods, which are getting hard to come by.
Today, the majority of nylon guitars in this price range are made of low quality or composite woods - which really makes them difficult to sound good and stay in tune (i.
e.
, this guitar stays in tune!).
The guitar's body and neck have minimal wear and there are no major/minor scratches or dents (i.
e.
, looks brand new).
This instrument would be an excellent guitar for a beginner or even moderately advanced player interested in trying out Spanish or classical guitar performance.
