We are currently seeking an *On-call Weekend Hospice Nurse* to join our team and make a meaningful impact.
*Compensation:* $55.
00 to $63.
00 per visit, $4.
75 per hour on-call
*Mileage reimbursement:* $0.

*Working Hours:*
This part-time position covers weekends, primarily on-call and symptom management visits from 5 PM Friday to 9 AM Monday.
You would be paid per visit when attending to patients at their homes and $4.
75 per hour to be on-call.
*Location:* Pierce County, Washington; Southeast King County Washington
*Position Overview:*
As a Weekend Hospice Nurse specializing in on-call and symptom management visits, you will play a crucial role in delivering comfort and care to our hospice patients during the weekends.
Your compassion, expertise, and dedication will provide solace and support to patients and their families during a challenging time.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Respond to on-call situations during the weekends to provide immediate care and support.
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and create individualized care plans.
* Administer medications, provide pain management, and effectively manage symptoms.
* Collaborate with an interdisciplinary hospice team to ensure holistic patient care.
* Offer emotional support to patients and families, creating a compassionate environment.
* Maintain accurate patient records and promptly report any changes in condition.
* Educate patients and families on end-of-life care and symptom management techniques.
* Comply with all healthcare regulations, including those specific to hospice care.
*Qualifications:*
* Valid Washington State RN license.
* Preferred: Prior experience in hospice care.
* Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated patient care experience required.
* Compassion and empathy for patients and their families.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Proficiency in electronic health record systems.
* Must be a licensed driver with an insured automobile in good working order.
*Certificates and Training:*
* Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
* Knowledge of hospice and palliative care principles is a plus.
