Description Registered Nurse 3 Western State Hospital is seeking an Employee Health RN to join their nursing team.
Our nurses are devoted to compassionate patient care, have a strong work ethic, and display consistently good judgment.
In this role, you will meet the employee health needs of new staff and current staff.
You will be a member of the Gage Employee Health/Infection Prevention team, and will assist with some Infection Prevention tasks.

, Monday - Friday, with occasional hours on other days and shifts to meet the needs of our 24/7 staff.
Opportunities performed on-site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary.
Evening and Night shifts include a shift differential in addition to the standard compensation rate.
Pierce County employees are eligible to receive an Orca Card for transportation needs.
Some of what you'll do: Provide confidential clinical services to employees, such as health screening, vaccine administration, tuberculosis screening and contact investigation, outbreak investigation, and post-exposure management Identify infections in the patient and employee populations through targeted surveillance activities, infection reports, chart reviews, laboratory rounds/radiology reports, and collaboration with physicians Investigate infections, clusters of infection, manage outbreaks, and/or exposures in the hospital Develop and provide education and training programs for employees Initiate and document quality improvement projects Conduct surveillance and research activities to improve organizational performance in infection control and occupational health Serve as liaison for Western State Hospital to other government and community organizations Who should apply? Washington State licensed RNs who have: Graduated from an accredited school of professional nursing and have 2 years of professional nursing experience (or equivalent education/experience).
