The Digital Equity Specialist will work directly with refugee and immigrant program participants to address their unique digital literacy and technology access needs.
The end goal is that participants are empowered to independently and safely navigate online community spaces and access essential online resources.
Compensation: $27.

Manage the distribution of donated devices; seek and coordinate additional donations of devices.
Assist participants with device and internet setup.
Provide basic tech support and coaching for participants.
Assist participants to apply for affordable internet and technology access programs.
Lead workshops on relevant digital literacy topics.
Be available during certain Zoom workshops and classes led by other staff to troubleshoot any tech issues experienced by refugee and immigrant program participants joining those Zoom calls.
Oversee and support Digital Equity volunteers.
Maintain participant and volunteer records in an organized and confidential manner.
Participate in team meetings and trainings.
Maintain close communication with other staff in order to coordinate effective service to participants.
