Position Description:
TCC’s Office of Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion (OEDI) is hiring a part-time Office Clerk.
This is an in-person, student-employee position with approximately 15-17 hours per week available to work.
The Office Clerk will assist in the day-to-day administrative tasks of the Division, working primarily with the Administrative Operations Coordinator and Associate Director of Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion.
Essential Functions
Receive and process purchasing requests from team members of OEDI
Assist with conference registrations
Filing, scanning, copying, and making on-campus deliveries as needed
Assist in the planning and coordination of on-campus cultural and heritage events
Serve as day-of support for on-campus events hosted by OEDI
Provide support in processing employee travel authorization and reimbursement forms
Data entry tasks as needed
Promote the initiatives and programming of the EDI Department

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Be a currently enrolled TCC student
Minimum GPA of 2.

Have been a TCC student for at least 2 quarters
Some office clerical experience preferred
Conditions of Employment:
Successfully complete a background check prior to the start of the employment period
Maintain good academic standing while employed by OEDI
Complete TCC’s new employee anti-racism training

This is a non-permanent position bound by the WAC 357-04-045 provisions above and is scheduled to work varied hours up to 17 hours per week.
The pay rate is $16.
28 - $16.
28 per hour.
Flexibility in scheduling is required to meet department needs.
TCC Part-time hourly and student employees including work study students, will accrue one hour of paid sick leave for every 40 hours worked.
Hourly non-student employees may be applicable for comprehensive health care benefits package for you and your dependents includes medical, dental and vision insurance.
Life and long- term disability insurance plans and retirement benefits are also provided.
