Ted Brown Music is hiring for a Help Desk Technician.
The Help Desk Technician is responsible for the support of printers, desktop hardware and software applications in a primarily retail environment.
The Help Desk Technician is the first point of contact for triaging Help Desk requests promptly and professionally.
This position reports to and collaborates with the IT Manager to enhance technology solutions across the company.

*Skills and Qualifications*
· In-depth knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems
· In-depth knowledge of desktop hardware and printers
· Foundational knowledge of networking principles in a business environment
· General knowledge of Windows Server operating systems
· Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 downloadable and cloud installations
· General knowledge of Windows Active Directory and Domains
· SharePoint modern UI experience a plus
· Information Technology degree or certifications a plus
· Passionate about music!

*Physical Requirements:*
This job operates in a professional open office environment with no cubicles or barriers.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers/scanners.
This position is predominantly sedentary.
However, it requires routine use of office equipment fax, copy, and scan.
While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, point, type and maneuver promotional items.
The employee will be required to occasionally lift and / or move items over 20 pounds.
The working conditions may occasionally be noisy due to consistent demonstrating of musical instruments and pro-audio equipment.
*PTO Benefits Full-Time*
Full-time employees will receive sick leave at the rate of 1 hour per every 40 hours worked.
In addition, full time employees will receive 1 week of vacation accrued at the rate of 1.
54 hours each pay period for two years.
After the two-year anniversary occurs, employees will accrue 3.
08 hours each pay period or two weeks of vacation each year.
Once the employee reaches 7 years, vacation time will be accrued at 4.
62 hours per pay period or three weeks per year.
Sick leave and vacation time can be used as accrued with no waiting period.

In addition to your salary, Ted Brown Music offers a competitive benefit package of medical, vision, voluntary dental, 401K, six paid holidays, sick leave, and one week vacation.
Eligible dependents can be added to all medical for an additional cost.
You will become eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 60 days of full-time employment.
