GET TO KNOW THE ROLE The Room Service Server will help deliver a luxury guest dining experience and is responsible for greeting guests, taking food orders, presenting food to guests, and ensuring high-end food quality while staying current on menu knowledge.
You will be responsible for providing food and beverage services to guests in their hotel rooms.
The primary goal is to ensure a positive dining experience for guests who choose to dine in the comfort of their rooms rather than in the hotel's restaurant.

Practice, support and promote the mission, vision, and values of Muckleshoot Casino Resort.
Memorization of the menu, including food and beverage options, specials, and allergen information.
Take food and beverage orders from guests over the phone or in person, ensuring accuracy and completeness of the order.
Provide recommendations and answer questions regarding menu items.
Upsell higher-priced menu items or promotions when appropriate.
Ensure proper presentation, temperature, and portioning of dishes.
Coordinate with kitchen staff, other servers, and hotel management to ensure smooth and efficient room service operations.
Provide attentive and friendly guest service, addressing guests' needs and concerns.
Anticipate guest requirements and help when needed.
Smile and engage guests and team members with a positive professional demeanor.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the room service area, including the storage and handling of food and beverages.
Suggest additional items, such as appetizers, desserts, or specialty drinks, to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
Service, salesmanship, and prioritization of tasks, with a strict focus on meeting and exceeding the needs of the guest, is a must.
Take accurate and detailed food and drink orders from guests, including any modifications or dietary restrictions.
Must have the ability to accurately receive and enter food and beverage orders through the given POS system and possess knowledge of fine-dining coursing with appropriate and timely steps of service.
Handle guest complaints or issues professionally and resolve them to the best of your ability.
Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING Ability to obtain a Class III B gaming license.
1 (one) year of previous experience in a similar role or customer service position is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of wines, and liquors, as well as the opening and serving of them is a plus! Must have or be able to obtain WA State Health Card/Food Handlers Permit (required).
Must have or be able to obtain a Class 12 Alcohol Permit (required).
HOW YOU’LL BE SUCCESSFUL Knowledge of health & safety standards, and safety regulations as required.
Ability to speak at length with guests about the food and beverage selections, aiding their decision-making process.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and a positive attitude.
Ability to accurately receive and enter food and beverage orders through the given POS system and must possess knowledge of fine-dining coursing with appropriate and timely steps of service.
Ability to demonstrate excellent guest service skills.
Ability to follow specific instructions.
Read, write, and speak English fluently.
WHAT TO EXPECT Availability – Ability to work different shifts, holidays, weekends, and nights to support a 24/7 operation.
Physical – Ability to maneuver in all areas of the casino, ascent/descent from stairs, frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching, and/or prolonged periods of time focusing on tasks.
Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
May regularly need to lift/ move, push or pull up material or boxes necessary to the job function, with or without assistance.
Environment – Exposure to environmental tobacco smoke (ETS) while working and traversing on the gaming floor.
