WHAT YOU WILL DO: • Monitor game operations to ensure that house rules are followed, that tribal, state, and federal regulations are adhered to, and that employees provide prompt and courteous service.
• Ensure that VGD machines are filled with ticket paper to keep machines in constant operation.
• Service minor machine and printer malfunctions.
• Consult VGD Shift Manager or Supervisor in the event of customer dissatisfaction or machine malfunction.
• Answer patrons' questions about gaming machine functions and payouts.
• Assist VGD Shift Manger with the control and issuance of Jackpot Payout Tickets and performs paperwork required for monetary transactions.
• Monitor patrons for signs of compulsive gambling, offering assistance if necessary.
• Perform duties in accordance with Tribal Gaming regulations and other Federal gaming agencies, such as NIGC.
• Assists with VGD promotions.
• Answer patrons' questions about gaming machine functions, payouts, and betting limits.
• Maintains VGD ticket stock in North Cage and Black Boxes for all gaming machines.
• Notifies Security to empty Black Boxes filled with Lost & Found VGD tickets.
• Clean, maintain, and sanitize VGD machines and surrounding areas.
• Records, updates, and maintains Paper Meal Log.
• Coordinates with surveillance / TGA for Edrops, Handpays, jackpots in excess of $25,000, and machine malfunction involving player claim forms.
• Observe gamblers' behavior for signs of cheating, such as slot-cruisers and seat switching for jackpots; Notifies security staff and VGD management of suspected cheating.
• Responsible for issued Bank and exchanges currency for customers, converting currency into requested combinations of bills.
• If required due to VGD machine malfunction, attendant will issue and perform Handpay procedures to fulfill payout in accordance with department SOPs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
