Job Description
This position will provide all onsite service and support needs for our staff relating to all technology, to include: workstations, onsite/cloud servers, printers, networks, and vendor specific hardware and software.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Provide desktop support and troubleshooting desktop hardware/software problems such as network connectivity, software not working, and user errors
Proper documentation for support, repair, and projects
Prepare reference for users by writing operating instructions
Maintain change tracking
Install and maintain workstations, servers, printers, network devices, software, cloud services and other technologies as needed
Install applications, drivers and updates
Monitor systems and users to maintain compliance
Day-to-day administrative tasks like, routine IT equipment cleaning, taking and transcribing meeting notes, scanning documents, routing incoming phone calls, scheduling tasks
Reliable transportation needed for occasional travel in the local area
Other cross-department assignments as needed
Carrying out various projects as assigned
Requirements
Highest level of integrity and work ethic
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, 365 Administration, and formulas in Excel
Comprehensive knowledge of Windows Operating Systems
Comprehensive knowledge of Windows Server 12, 16 and 19
Ability to troubleshoot hardware/software issues
Ability to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities
Ability to follow instructions and work autonomously, but also able to recognize when a project or task is beyond your knowledge level
Ability to quickly gain new skills and knowledge when faced with new challenges
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to ask questions and get information in order to diagnose computer problems and discern what level of support is needed when a problem is presented
Work professionally in stressful situations; maintain composure and sense of humor during heavy workload and constant interruptions
Ability to show respect consistently even under stress and pressure
Attention to detail
Comprehensive knowledge of Active Directory
Previous exposure providing support in a Domain environment
Previous experience using help desk software or experience in a related assistant role
MSP Experience is a plus
