I bought this coach in 2021 to make some cross country trips with my four daughters, we hit all of the national parks… Glacier, Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Southern California, the Gulf of Mexico, Florida, and all of the states in between.
My oldest daughters have since moved out this year and now I’m looking to downsize to a smaller class C coach.
I’ve put just under 13,000 miles on it but I invested a lot of time and money into maintenance items to make it as safe and reliable as possible for my trips.
I’ve replaced the following items: all 6 Toyo M122 tires (2021 date code) ($3,000) with new valve stems, front and rear airbags ($1,000), CAT water pump, CAT Turbo charger ($2300), Freightliner intercooler ($1200), belts, hoses, CAT coolant, CAT thermostat, CAT idler pulley, radiator cleaned, fuel filters, water separator, air dryer filter and valve, has excellent brake linings and drums (full air brake system), alignment is spot on and drives straight without any abnormal tire wear, just completed an 800 mile trip on new semi-synthetic 15-40 oil and CAT filter, removed the rusted out exhaust and replaced it with a new down pipe and exhaust pipe, I made the rear louvers removable with stainless hardware to allow for better cooling in the summer.
This coach will easily pull mountain passes fully loaded while towing my car without blinking an eye, it does
not overheat and easily passes most semis without any effort.
The motor makes great power, doesn’t smoke, doesn’t use or leak any fluids.
I replaced the backup camera with a color camera and monitor, all exterior lights have been replaced with LEDs and are super bright, new headlight housings, amber and clear LED fog and driving lights on a new relay controlled switch panel with 4 additional circuits, Uniden CB radio mounted inside the dash, Bluetooth soundbar with powered sub, smart TV, 7kw propane generator with 880 hours that works great and was recently serviced, automatic steps, new passenger side windshield ($1200), automatic propane/electric fridge and freezer works great, propane stovetop and oven, electric microwave, large stand-in shower, new toilet, new black tank plumbing/pipes and seals along with drain valves, I resealed the roof with the good EDM products, there are no water leaks nor have there been any water leaks previously, I replaced the roof vent covers, cleaned and serviced the two roof A/C units, I removed the louvers from the covers on the condensers to allow better air flow for more efficient cooling, I replaced the
entry door glass with new tinted glass, added 12v and USB plugs, replaced the 12v interior lights with LED, still has some of the original fluorescent fixtures that work fine.
New faucets in bath and kitchen.
Has lots of lockable underneath storage.
Layout is Queen bedroom in rear with lots of storage and closet space.
Large stand-in shower, private commode, pantry and kitchen area, dinette that converts to sleeping space, pullout couch that converts to sleeping space, swiveling captains chairs up front.
Pull down blinds on all windows.
Hardwood cabinets.
Propane furnace that is ducted through the floor.
Hydraulic leveling jacks.
6V house batteries.
This is a metal framed coach with thick fiberglass siding, no delaminating or problems, original paint is nice and shiny.
80 gallon diesel tank, 100 gallon fresh water, 50 gallon gray and 50 gallon black tanks, 30 gallon propane tank.
Will come with dishes, cups, cookware, toaster, coffee pot, septic system hoses and fittings, heavy 50amp power cord with automatic surge protector, storage cover, white wheel covers, new tire chains, spare tire.
Rig is ready to go.
It’s a 26 year old coach and isn’t perfect; the front seat upholstery is split at the seams, the carpet is original but not tore up.
It’s dry inside and doesn’t smell.
Is kept under a 5 yr warrantied RV cover when not in use.
I wouldn’t hesitate to drive it cross country this week with all of the work that has been done to it.
No emissions on the engine to break or fail, no DPF, no EGR, no DEF needed.
