This listing is for a 1967 Ford F100 I hoped to focus on building out the interior, shine juicin' the exterior, and replacing the flooring and seat cover.
However, I've got three trucks, and all three are constantly in a state of repair so its difficult to spend the right amount of time on this, especially with other projects I have in mind.
First I focused on getting the transmission and engine running.
I've recently replaced the spark plugs, batteries, water pump, alternator, thermostat, fan belt.
Truck starts, stops, runs and drives.
Transmission works great! The thermostat housing will need to be replaced before driving The body has a great surface rust patina, with limited rust through in the usual spots (quarter panels, floors, rear cab, doors) It runs, drives, has a clean title with new plates and registration (just renewed, not on truck currently).
I've drained the tank for winter, so that I can ensure there is no moisture in it.
I can put some in if you'd like to see it run.
The cons: The carpeting has been removed Their is a tear in the leather cover on the seat The brakes need to be bled and adjusted (It will come with a brand new master cylinder in the box!) so it's not exactly safe to drive long distance.
The thermostat housing has a slight crack in it, this is a replaceable part, but you'll want a non aluminum replacement.
This causes the temps to rise and needs to be replaced.
It may help to replace the thermostat itself, but their so cheap I'd do it anyways.
This makes it difficult to drive for long periods.
The tires need to be replaced (the front left has a hard time fully holding air, and the rest have been on their for quite a bit) There are rust through spots (see images) Windshield is cracked Windshield wiper motor is out.
Column shifter has been swapped to the floor, so its no longer a 3 on the tree, its a 3 on the floor.
The pros: Starts up, runs, shifts, drives every single time.
The brakes need to be bled, but I've driven it plenty from the house to the parts store on slow days The rust could certainly be worse, but man does this patina look great.
Inline 6 240, built like a tank.
These things can run forever.
Suspension was replaced about 10 years ago, so it rides pretty great and may only need new rubber The main wiring harness was updated, so there's a super pak under the hood, which makes this thing cherry to start.
Additional bottom front fog lights were wired, with switches installed in the dash.
No computers.
This thing runs on three things: Fuel, Air, and spark.
That's it.
Comes with a pretty sweet tool box in the rear The bed is in good condition, no wholes or rust through in the seems.
Just needs to be cleaned and treated for the surface rust Has a vacuum pressure gage mounted and installed for your viewing pleasure! I adjusted the float and the gauge has shown the right gas (I've never filled it due to not wanting old gas to sit in it for long periods of time) All the lights work (blinkers, brights, etc) Heater fan works, with adjustable vent Odometer shows around 98K miles, so it may be original (its always a nice thought ;)) but I have no info to state that it is.
Shoot me quick email to chat, I'll answer any questions you may have.
Price is as listed, and I've lowered it to my total bottom asking price.
I can store this in the garage, but I'd like to clear up the space in my driveway.
