Company West Coast Energy Systems Name Service Coordinator - Energy Systems - Fife, WA Req # 63764 Employment Type Full Time Shift 1st JOB SUMMARY: The Service Coordinator position will be responsible for creating work orders, answering incoming service calls, quoting troubleshoot requests, work closely with salesperson(s) to ensure proper paperwork is completed to set up the job correctly (ie.
form of payment), daily dispatching of technicians, reviewing jobs daily to ensure tech notes, time and appropriate checklists are completed and ready to invoice, work with parts personnel to ensure parts are in stock before scheduling the job, and managing overall administrative workflow for the Service Department.
These functions require electronic management of parts using company business systems.
In addition, this position requires supporting other parts personnel as needed.
Essential Duties: 90% Creating work orders, answering incoming phone calls, and assisting with the scheduling of technicians Following up on quoted service repair jobs and recommended repairs Support of other Service departmental roles on an as needed basis.
Required to support the parts and sales department as needed for to provide excellent customer service 10% Other Duties as assigned: Assist the Parts department when needed MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: 2 years of administrative experience in a service-related business 2 years of scheduling field technicians and/or customer service PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Associate degree in business Experience: 4+ years of administrative experience in a service-related business 4+ years of scheduling field technicians and/or customer service KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES Computer literacy is required, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (i.
e.
Outlook, Word, Excel) General knowledge of service parts and service industry including but not limited to basic mechanical and technical aptitude Incorporate time management skills by prioritizing work assignments.
Proven interpersonal skills with both internal and external customers, including being a team player to create synergy within the office and company Must be able to manage high pressure situations.
Must have basic math skills for computing percentages, multipliers, sales tax, and totals on parts orders Level of Independence: This position acts under the Branch Manager.
COMPENSATION: Energy Systems is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The hourly rate for this role based in Fife, WA is $19.

This compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled.
Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
This role is eligible for variable compensation including short term and long-term incentives.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance, waist high, up to 10 feet away.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
The employee must comply with the assigned location PPE requirements including but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, appropriate gloves, clothing, and shields for required tasks and closed toed or safety shoes as required by facility safety policies.
