48 Pierce County’s First Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic: Comprehensive Life Resources is looking to add a Clinical Manager to our Pearl Youth Residential Treatment Facility in Tacoma WA.

Function: In coordination with Program Director, manage all clinical and administrative components of the residential treatment facility.
Provide the highest quality care to children and adolescents who are challenged with mental illnesses and facilitate community care and coordination between all natural support systems.
Serves as a member of the organization that welcomes, engages, and serves individuals with complex wellness needs.
Positions Supervised: Therapists, Case Managers, Certified Peer Counselors, Recreation therapists Responsibilities: I.
Leadership/Management Participate with program and agency leadership to recruit, interview, recommend hire, orient, schedule and assign work to staff.
Coach, equip, supervise and manage assigned employees.
Supervise assigned employees.
Support and facilitate employee retention, support employee satisfaction, retention and professional growth.
Manage and forecast planning all clinical aspects of program.
Coordinate treatment and administrative functions of the clinical team for assigned residential unit.
Provide consultation, coaching and support to clinicians to ensure the requirements for services and documentation are satisfied.
Develop and implement program outcomes and outcome studies as assigned by Program Director.
Supervise staff training programs, and components Oversee and ensure agency and program compliance with applicable Federal, State and local laws, licensing, agency policies and procedures, contracts and other regulations, requirements and standards as required including WACs and Joint Commission accreditation.
Manage, coordinate, and integrate program with internal organization and community resources.

Supervise the completion and maintenance of clinical files in accordance with agency policy, HCA, Joint Commission, DOH, and CLIP.
Participate as a member of the performance improvement and risk management committees.
Oversee evaluation of program.
Promote employee compliance and adherence with ethical and professional standards of practice.
Help respond to consumer questions and concerns at the program level.
Perform other duties as assigned.
II.
Program Development Implement program work plan consistent with goals and objectives.
Confidence and ability to demonstrate written/verbal communication and leadership with peers, families, and respected community stakeholders.
Participate in reviewing and updating policies and procedures.
Advise the Program Director of any arising issues or concerns in the Program.
III.
Clinical/Treatment Services Participate in managing referrals, intake and treatment planning for consumers.
Provide clinical oversight of clinical treatment aspects of program.
Demonstrate knowledge and experience with holistic treatment planning and assessments.
Promote clinical therapeutic modeling and treatment for milieu programming.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in social services or related field.
WA State Licensed Psychologist preferred.
3 years clinical experience with children and/or adolescents and families.
2 years administrative and clinical supervisory experience preferred.
Qualified as a Mental Health Professional.
Licensure preferred and Child Mental Health Specialist preferred.
WA state credential/license.
Experience with program development, therapeutic modalities and training, proficient in computer skills and navigating electronic health record and meeting regulatory expectations.
Experience with Joint Commission accreditation, state licensing and contracting, preferred.
Clinical experience in individual, group, family therapy, child development, clinical records and applicable legal aspects of child/adolescent treatment.
Working knowledge of agency and program policies and procedures, contracts, and licensing requirements.
Strong management and leadership, interpersonal and written and verbal communications skills.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize deadlines, work independently, take initiative, and maintain confidentiality.
Availability to work varied hours including evenings and weekends.
