CPA firm is looking for a well-rounded general accountant/CPA to join their team of professionals.

*Responsibilities:*
· This position includes helping clients “clean-up” accounting records and reconcile balances.
· Many clients use QuickBooks and value the added service of assisting with accounting policies and procedures, both setup and on-going support.
· You will be working directly with the firm's Partners and clients, providing hands-on consulting.
· You will review challenging business and individual tax returns (including multi-state returns); provide tax research, planning and strategy; manage tax engagements including scheduling and budgets; represent clients before the IRS and other taxing authorities; mentor team members and develop and cultivate professional client relationships.
*Qualifications:*
· Licensed CPA/Accountant with 3-7 years’ public accounting.
· Experience in attest financial statement and tax preparation as well as individual, corporate and partnership return preparation.
· Able to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines in a fast-paced, work in a team-oriented environment, possess strong communication skills and organizational skills.
· Experience with job costing schedules, sales tax, payroll tax filings and research.
· Strong Excel spreadsheet skills.
Familiarity with Ultra-Tax and the Thomson Reuters suite of programs.
· QuickBooks experience is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.
00 - $120,000.
